게이트 파 테니스클럽, 어린이 강습 프로그램 인기

타우랑가의 게이트 파 테니스 클럽은  5세 이상의 어린이들을 위한 전문적인 테니스 프로그램을 운영하고 있다.

 

Hotshot Tennis 프로그램은 어린 학생들은 즐겁게 경기를 통해 배우게 되고  부모들은 체계가 갖추어진 전문적인 티칭 프로그램을 신뢰한다.

 

코치 피터 블로우와 그의 팀은 초급자부터 전국 우승의 선수까지 배출한 20년 이상의 경력으로 게이트 파 테니스 클럽의 Hotshot Tennis 프로그램을 선보였다.

 

Hotshot Tennis 프로그램은 4단계로 블루,레드,오렌지,그린의 스테이지가 있으며 3-5세 블루 스테이지부터 시작할 수 있다.

 

5-7세 초급자를 위한 레드 스테이지에서 사용되는 테니스공은 압축률이 25%밖에 되지 않아 탄력이 적어 어린 선수들이 공을 치기에 쉽다. 경기장 코트와 네트의 크기도 작아 어린 선수들이 경기장을 모두 사용하는데 도움을 준다.

 

그 다음단계인 오렌지 레벨(8-10 years) 로 올라가면 다른 공을 사용하게 되는데 이때 공의 압축률이 50%로 이전 단계보다 훨씬 탄성이 올라가 경기장에서 바운스되는 정도가 커지고 테니스 코트의 사이즈도 약간 커진다.

 

그린 레벨로 올라가면 일반공에서 75% 압축된 공을 사용하고 풀사이즈 테니스코트에서 경기를 하게 된다.
