영구영주권과 뉴질랜드 이민 카테고리
Permanent Residence VISA (영구 영주권)
뉴질랜드로 이민을 오기 위해서는 영주권 비자(영주권)를 받아야 합니다.
뉴질랜드는 자국으로 이민을 오거나 정착하고 싶은 외국인들에게 여러 카테고리별 신청 조건을 정해두고 그 조건에 부합하는 경우에 한해 영주권 발급을 승인해 주고 있습니다. 각 부문별 임시 영주권을 취득한 뒤 2년 동안 뉴질랜드 국내에 거주할 경우 Returning Resident Visa 를 발급해 주는데 이것이 영구 영주권을 의미합니다.
<뉴질랜드 이민의 종류>
1.기술이민
뉴질랜드내의 고용계약을 갖고 있거나 혹은 학력이나 경력 등에서 뉴질랜드 경제에 기여 할수 있을 것이라는 기대가 되는 경우에 해당되는 이민 카테고리로 소정의 영어 능력 수준을 요구하며 건강이나 범죄 사실 등의 결격 사유가 없어야 합니다. 뉴질랜드 기술 이민 신청을 위해서는 일정 Pass mark (100점) 이상이 되어야 하며 그러나 이 Pass mark가 된다고 해서 비자 발급이 결정되는 것은 아닙니다. 일단 기준점수 이상이 되어야 신청할 수 있는 자격이 있으며 뉴질랜드 이민성에서는 Expression Of Interest (EOI, 의향서)를 받아 초기 심사를 한 뒤 통과가 되면 신청자에게 본심사를 위한 신청서 등을 제출할 것을 요청합니다. 본 심사를 모두 통과 해야 영주권이 발급됩니다.
2.투자이민
뉴질랜드 투자이민은 나이, 사업 경력 그리고 투자액에 따라 점수가 합산되는 Point System 이며 점수가 Pass mark 에 미치지 못하는 사람은 신청 자격이 없습니다. 현재 Pass mark 는 12점으로 이는 변동될 수 있으므로 신청하기 전 Pass mark를 확인해 보고 신청하셔야 합니다.
뉴질랜드 투자이민의 경우 2년간의 조건부 영주권이며 투자금이 2년간 은행에 예치되어 있을 경우 2년 뒤 영구영주권으로 전환됩니다. 학력과 경력 등 자신의 직업능력에 바탕을 둔 기술이민으로의 이민을 먼저 고려하신 뒤 여의치 않으시면 고려해 보실 수 있는 뉴질랜드 투자 이민은 최소 NZD 2,000,000를 은행에 묶어 놓으셔야 하는 조건 외에도 영어 능력 (IELTS 5.0이상) 증빙 자료가 첨부되어야 하므로 결코 자산만 있다고 해서 신청할 수 있는 영주권 카테고리는 아닙니다. 영어 능력 증빙이 요청되기 시작한 뒤부터 한국 신청자가 많이 감소하는 추세 입니다.
3.기업 이민
기업이민은 뉴질랜드에서 사업체를 운영함으로써 뉴질랜드의 경제에 기여하고 또 새로운 일자리를 만들어 낼 수 있는 능력을 갖춘 사람을 받아들이기 위한 이민의 종류입니다. 장기사업비자를 신청하고 현지에서 2년 이상의 사업을 한 이후 사업체를 운영한 실적을 바탕으로 영주권을 신청하게 되는데 이때 사업자 등록증, 회계 자료, 세금 납부 등의 세금 증빙 사료, 고용 창출 증명자료 등이 첨부해야 합니다. 또한 영어 능력 (IELTS 6.5) 증빙 자료도 포함되어야 하는데 과거 장기사업비자 신청시 영어 능력을 제출하지 않았던 신청자라면 새로이 영어능력에 대한 자료를 제출하셔야 합니다. 영어 점수의 높은 벽으로 한국인 신청자도 현저하게 줄어들고 있습니다.
4.가족초청이민
가족 초청이민은 뉴질랜드 시민권 또는 영주권자가, 다른 나라에 있는 가족들과 결합하는 것을 돕기 위한 목적의 이민입니다. 이는 가족 관계를 전제로 한 이민 카테고리로, 파트너 초청, 부모 초청, 형제/성년자녀 초청, 미성년자녀 초청 등으로 분류됩니다. 뉴질랜드 가족초청은 뉴질랜드 현지에서 sponsorship을 작성한 뒤 이민성 등에 신청하면 됩니다.
