뉴질랜드 학교에 유학생 등록 취소하며 학비 환불 신청할 때

국제 유학생 학비 :  Tuition Fees (payable in advance)
* 등록비 (Administration fee) ;  $285 (환불 불가) 
* 연간 유학생 수업료(Year 1-6)  NZ $12,000 
 * 위 수업료에는 * 전체 수업료. ESOL수업료, 문구류, 학교 수업 프로그램 참가비 등이 포함됨. 
 * 기타 필수 비용 :  스쿨 소풍, 학교 캠핑 등     

[ 유학생 학비 환불 규정 ]
Refund Conditions and Procedures
As fees are payable in advance refunds may only be granted at the discretion of the Board of Trustees in exceptional circumstances.   

* 등록 취소로 인한 환불 신청이 학교에 서면 접수가 되면 학교운영이사회(BOT)에서 심의 의결됩니다. 

If a student withdraws from his/her course of study, he/she may be eligible for a refund of tuition fees. 
The following procedures and guidelines would apply:

Parents must apply in writing to the Principal setting out the special circumstances of the claim within one month of the last day of attendance. A medical certificate must be received by the Board of Trustees if health is the reason for termination of the tuition agreement.  

(서면으로 등록 취소 이유 및 환불 요청서를 보내야됩니다) 

If the application is made before the start of the course (one year of schooling), fees will be refunded less the administration charge of $285 NZD.  
(학교 수업 시작 전, 입학 전에  취소하면  $285 등록비를 제외하고는 전액 학비 환불이 됩니다. ) 

If the application is made after the start of the course, but before the second half of a course, fees will be refunded less:  (만약 학교에 다니고 있고, 전반기 6개월 수업이 끝나지 않은 경우에는 아래 비용을 제외한 뒤에  - 나머지 학비가 환불됩니다.  
a) The administration charge of $285.
b) Costs to the school already incurred for tuition.
c) Components of the fee already committed for the duration of the course.
d) The proportion of the Government Levy the school is required to pay.
e) Any other costs already incurred.

* 보통 위 비용을 모두  합하면 학교를 떠난 뒤의 다음 한 학기 정도의 학비로 계산이 됩니다.

그래서 텀2 수업을 마치고 갑자기 귀국하시게 될 경우 텀3 학비는 환불이 안되고, 텀4 학비만 환불이 되는 경우가 많이 있습니다. 학교마다 다르기 때문에 꼭 각 학교 홈페이지의 환불 규정을 살펴보기 바랍니다.  

If the application is made after the second half of a course there will be no refund except under exceptional circumstances. This will be determined by the Board of Trustees. (만약 학교에 입학해서  전반기 두개 학기 수업을 받은 이후에  등록 취소, 환불 신청하면 * (매우 이례적인 상황이 아닌 경우 *)  학비 환불은 되지 않습니다.   이례적인 상황은 학교 운영이사회에서 심의합니다. 

If an international fee-paying family gains their residency or a work permit during the course of study, you will be be eligible for free education in New Zealand and will be eligible for a refund of the unused portion of the prepaid fees. Residency or work visa documentation must be provided within 14 days of it being granted.
 (수업 기간 중에 부모님들의 비자가 영주권, 워크비자 취득으로 인해 내국인 학생으로 변경이 될 경우 나머지 기간의 유학생 학비는 환불받을 수 있습니다.  영주권 발급된 뒤 14일 이내에 학교에 보내줘야합니다)  

학교에서 정학, 퇴학 등을 받을 경우,  뉴질랜드 다른 학교로 전학하는 경우,   (가족들의 사망이나 질병으로 인한 귀국이 아닌 ) 개인 사정 변경으로 귀국시 , 또는 입학 신청시 허위 정보를 기재한 경우 등에는 나머지 기간의 학비 환불이 되지 않습니다.
