Children compete in relays and have a lot of fun mixing with their team mates, some events are boys only/girls only, some are mixed girls and boys and some are mixed ages.

Age group 4 x 100m Relay boys and girls

Medley mixed boys/girls together Relay
Grades 7-9 - 2 x 200m plus 4 x 100m
Grades 10-14 - 2 x 100m plus 1 x 200m plus 1 x 400m plus 1 x 800m

Field Relay boys and girls
Juniors Grade 7 Long jump - Grade 8 Shot Put - Grade 9 Discus compete as a Team

Grades 10-14 boys and girls Teams of 3 with each athlete doing an event Long Jump, Discus, Shotput.

When and Where

Saturday 1st December 2012
at the Tauranga Domain Track
9am start

Our Club will make announcements at Club nights early November for athletes to put their names down that are available for this event, then our Team Managers will select teams.

There is a small entry fee for each event.

Please encourage other children from your age group to enter so that whole teams from each age group can be entered.

As this is a teams event please ensure if you commit to a Relay team that you turn up on the day as other children are disappointed if they are unable to compete because one team member has let them down, the event is held on all weather tracks - if there is rain races will continue.

$25 - 90 minutes ratio coach/10-15 athletes
confirm times and level with Val
